鍾玲玲，浙江嘉興人，在香港接受教育，六十年代開始投稿，撰寫專欄和連載小說。1971年因參加保衛釣魚台示威被捕。業餘與友人合辦文學報刊如《大拇指》和《素葉文學》。 1990年憑《解咒的人》獲香港中文文學雙年獎；《我的燦爛》和《愛蓮說》曾為香港電台改編成電視劇。
